Indiana Bat

The federally endangered Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis), can only benefit from the restrictions on human traffic at Cudjo's Cave. For hibernation, the small brown bats with mouselike ears need undisturbed limestone caverns, where they hang in compact clusters of 500 to 1,000 or more.
